December 6, 201312 yr I used to be able to see the route an AI traffic plane was flying when I had AI aircraft labels enabled. All of a sudden though the route labels are gone. I can still see the model/distance/altitude of the AI plane but no longer the route. Is there a setting I can go change to make that appear again? Also in my traffic you can choose from which schedules you want to use it appears. One of them appears to be UT2 which I have but don't use. I think it would be really cool if I could use the flight plans from UT2 in My traffic or does that option only pertain to where a plane is going not the route that it is going to fly to get there? I know there is FS live traffic but I am not sure if that changes how the AI planes fly there routes to more resemble how the AI planes fly in UT2. Now that I have used both the programs I do see a vast difference in how the AI planes fly in UT2 versus MT5.4.
December 6, 201312 yr Moderator FSLl live traffic generates a traffic. bgl for the flight plans. UT2 is the only traffic addon that can actually fly routes that aren't direct because it uses simconnect. All other traffic packages compile the flight plans into a. bgl file. In a traffic bgl you can not define waypoints along a route and the flight will only be direct from a to b. Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator
December 6, 201312 yr Author Route labels are enabled through your FSX.cfg file. Awesome, I guess I will have to look through the file and see if I can find it.
