December 7, 201312 yr I am looking at the 'Details' page of a released flight plan. Using the PMDG737-800 with WL. If I have a payload of of 9810KG is this including the passengers? Do I have to subtract the weight of PAX when in the MENU of the PMDG payload page? I have 100PAX just to keep the numbers simple and to try things out. The ZFW looks like it is a bit different in PFPX to the PMDG by a few tones. PFPX is ZFW 52,801 PMDG in the CDU is saying ZFW 59.7 tones Sorry for the rushed post in advance. December 7, 201312 yr Payload mass should include passengers. Do not own PFPX so I cannot help you more, with simbrief I get nice numbers. Lj. Prodanovic
December 7, 201312 yr Author I have 8400KG of people in the program options of PFPX. 100 people. Baggage 11KG per person 1100KG ( guess I should change this to 20KG) PMDGs weights would be a bit different. J u l ia n D i a m a n d i s
December 7, 201312 yr 8400kg (100 passengers) + 1100kg (100bags x 11kg) = 9500 kg. In your load planning screenshot payload is 9810kg. Wich one is correct? As I can calculate: NGX738WL empty mass is 41.4t (FMC data) PFPX 738 mass is 43t (calculated from your table ZFM minus payload) That's 1.6t difference. Next, PMDG NGX assumes mass of 1 passenger is 80kg. PFPX assumes it's 87kg (calculated from your table) Difference for 100 passengers is 0.7t So, it's 2.3t difference in total. I loaded my PMDG738WL with 100 passengers and 1100kg of cargo. I get 50.5t ZFM. Your load planning screenshot shows 52.8t which is exactly 2.3t difference. December 8, 201312 yr The ZFW looks like it is a bit different in PFPX to the PMDG by a few tones. PFPX is ZFW 52,801 PMDG in the CDU is saying ZFW 59.7 tones Adjust PFPX ZFW by adjusting pax and cargo to agree with the CDU in the 737NGX. You are flying the NGX not PFPX. December 8, 201312 yr Author I think I got it now, thanks. Like you say the PMDG is the final weight. And the thing I am trying to fly. I will tweak PFPX to reflect the weight of people on the PMDG. Just one question, when I go on holiday I am aloud 20KG, with easyjet or Tomas Cook, what is the weight of an average suitcase on the PMDG? (in abstract terms) In the simulation I mean? December 8, 201312 yr There is no such value at PMDG. Cargo is just cargo and you are supposed to enter total cargo mass. Lj. Prodanovic
