I am trying to figure out which is the best Bae-146 to download (freeware or payware)I found a model done by Jon Murchison (flyawaysimulation.com),na model in Eurowings (aerosoft.com),and a model in (arnz.myhost.co.nz).Is there any other and which one as the most supporters in this forum?Roger

Well, the first and third you mention are actually the same (Jon Murchison's site is ARNZ). They're very good models, they're free and lots of re-paints are available. There are also some nice freeware panels available, so you could get a decent 146 or Avro RJ without spending a bean. However, I have Eurowings Pro, primarily because I like fully (or as full as I can handle/want) modelled flight-decks. And EW Pro does have an FMS and the slightly interesting BAe autopilot setup. Also, you get the 146-200 and 146-300, with a good range of liveries out of the box, plus there are some other repaints on this site. So, depends on your wallet. But if you have the money, try EW Pro.Rob

I've only tried the ARNZ model...which is just fine for Freeware.

Info on a good freeware panel set for the BAE 146 and similar RJ85 can be found at www.baepanelproject.com. I have been using the RJ85 from Mike Stone with Mathias Lieberecht's panel. The site links to his forum. Very nice overhead and pedestal but no FMC (yet). The overhead includes hydraulics, pressurization, and electrical including full APU.

I too use the arnz model and until recently was using the baepanelproject panel. Only reason why I don't still use it, is because I am building a cockpit, and I can't get the baepanelproject and the cockpit to work together because there are no fsuipc settings that I can use.Having said that, I would certainly recommend without reservation for anyone wanting to use the baepanelproject to do so - it's a really indepth panel, and I must say I even preferred it to the eurowings one, which I found to be rather resource hungry (note this is on my machine whatever anyone else is getting on their machine is on their machine and not mine)

HI.I have the Eurowings Bae-146 and I am pleased with this product. The sound is great and the engine view out the window is a nice touch. It comes with many liveries which are visually nice to look at.You have a choice of a crt or analog panel but the FMC leaves a bit to be desired. There is no vc. I enjoy wing views so I downloaded Jon Murchison freeware model and installed my BAE-146 crt panel.Jon Murchison models are also very nice. TH AMD 64 3500+(939) MSI Nvidia FX5900XT

A later version of the BAE146-200 is the RJ85. I use Mike Stone's at www.pmstone.com. With that I use the panel from www.baepanelproject.com for thr RJ.
