Making Aircraft Dark No Engines Running

Featured Replies

I know it is probably in the docs, but does anybody know how to make the aircraft completely dark. No engines, everything shut down? :)Probably just some simple key stroke. This is for the FSD Piaggio, as they don't seem to have that option in the configuration manager..Thanks!Barry

Start up your flight, then just shut everything down and save the flight as your default or just name flights after the aircraft you fly and then each time you start up, each aircraft you save that way will be cold and dark.Jim

Hello,Just to be sure:Start FS2004CREATE FLIGHTGo to your favorite Airport and parking siteSelect the default 172Turn off everythingSave the flight - I save as DEFAULT C&DYou may need more than one of these saved flights. The F1-ATR requires a startup of just such a default flight WITH THE AVIONICS TURNED ON. To do this, just turn on the AVIONIC MASTER BEFORE you save the flight.Happy flying,Ron SagelNear KCHS

Ron is right...I have found the MOST detailed aircraft in my "hangar", set it up at the gate with everything off (Magnetos, generators, pumps, etc, etc.) and saved it as my "default". All flights I create, from then on, are Cold and Dark.
