Hello Avsim friends!I just downloaded Posky's 757-200 and took it for a spin and then noticed something :( - a really excessive nose-up attitude in the cruise. Try altering this line: cruise_lift_scalar =1.000to something like: cruise_lift_scalar =0.800Then make further adjustments up or down until you have the result you want. For example, if it over corrects it, make the value somewhere between the two figures. If it still flies pitch up, reduce the value further. I don't think any other setting in the cfg will have the desired effect, although I noticed the lines: empty_weight_CG_position = 0.000, 0.000, 0.000Engine.0 = 10.200, -21.250, -3.290Engine.1 = 10.200, 21.350, -3.290This appears to be wrong as far as I can see. I would have expected the CG to be nearer to the engines distance of 10.200 feet. As it stands the CG is effectively set 10.200 feet behind the engines. You could also try changing the line to see what effect it might have:empty_weight_CG_position = 10.000, 0.000, 0.000I often have to change this to be further forwards on downloaded models because the ground steering becomes ineffective at higher speeds when the CG is set too far back, so check the steering to help confirm the CG setting. If it seems to be difficult to control, then adjusting the CG further forwards should fix it, however the wheels compression settings may be badly affected too and could also need adjustments but hopefully that won't be the case.

Hi. I have the same kind of problem with an MD-11 I am in the process of taking to KDEN. Then I downloaded the little 8 page manual and that gives the correct cruise speeds for a given altitude, so from a 3 or more degree pitch up by cruising at the wrong speed, the plane goes to a nose level attitude when cruised at the right speed at that particular altitude. Maybe that'll help a bit.:(

You could increase the wing's lift efficiency, and therefore reduce the "angle of attack":Find this line:oswald_efficiency_factor= 0.750... change it to:oswald_efficiency_factor= 1.000Experiment with the number, save the file, and reload the plane :). You don't have to restart the flight each time ... just press the "reload aircraft" button :)PS make sure you CLOSE the aircraft.cfg before reloading the plane :)

Thanks friends for your help and advice.lemonadedrinker-Yea I know what you mean! But the key word concerning my problem is *excessive* - even if you stick to the weights and speeds you are pointed waaaaaay up! This is something I dont see in my other add-on jets like the iFDGs, PMDGs, Overlands & Project Fokkers. So I knew something was up :)First off, I tweaked the settings Charlie suggested and it seemed to work, unfortunately the nose dipped only a wee wee bit!I then did a search for the FDEs like Craig said (I thought I had the latest ones)...sure enough I found updated ones!After doing that I fired up FS9 and took a 757 on a test flight.I had all my fingers and toes crossed as I approached cruise altitude. I was like "Please drop nose....good 757 nose...":) It worked :)Thanks u lot!!!
