I am back on DX9 , will DX10 later again. Copied back the original FSX shaders from backup.

 

With Radeonpro I have enabled FXAA , SMAA , SweetFX and also have changed SMAA  and HDR Values but I am seeing no effect what soever , AA in CCC is 4xEQ and disabled in FSX. Should I disable AA in CCC too ?

 

If I put ENB I can notice the change , damn.

ENB is not capable of doing anything in dx10. If you're seeing effects with ENB, you're not running dx10. Don't know about CCC at all - sorry...

I have used FXAA and SweetFX on DX9 just a couple of days ago and it was brilliant , now it just does not work

The d3d9.dll file is used by both enb and sweetfx. Be shure to setup as described in the instructions that comes with sweetfx.

I removed everything. I am reinstalling fsx :(

I am doing fsx reinstall.

 

Tried RadeonPro with FS9 and it works with FXAA and everything. damn

Bloody Radeonpro. I had only last three cores selected in Radeonpro so it had removed the AF from Fsx.cfg hence If I used Fsx directly it was jumping to all cores.

 

Radenpro issue is , if I deselect "Disable API Monitoring" fsx will crash on load and if select it none of the effects work. I am using the latest version.

Nothing works now even Fsx is crashing on default settings, why the hell did I reinstall fsx :( .

 

I think I am reinstalling windows and everything all over again. Just one more try and then going to reinstall.

Luckily I did not have to resinstall, managed to get Sweetfx working using DX9 under radeonpro but still no FXAA , if I use FXAA under radeonpro i get a crash so I have to select Disable API monitoring which shuts off FXAA and SMAA of radeonpro.

Remove d3d9.dll from fsx root folder then fsx will start up.

I removed the dll, but still no fxaa and if I deselect API monitoring "kernelbase.dll" fault.

 

Have removed all Swfx / fxaa stuff from the Fsx root folder.

 

NO AA select anywhere.

 

I think the issue is due to the 13.12 drivers, planning on dropping down back to 13.4 or 13.9.

 

 

Dropped down to 13.4 deselect API Monitoring "approfile.dll" fault.

FXAA no chance , tried the 13.4 / 13.9 and back to 13.12 Catalyst.

I shall be doing a full install of everything , as my affinitymask is stuck only on two cores and whatever I do it is not releasing from those cores , removed from fsx.cfg too and tried other AF settings no luck. Radeonpro no luck. FXAA no luck (infact I feel FXAA is not too good looking or maybe its config problem).

 

hopefully  tomorrow i shall do the reinstall.
