Just got REX Essentials Plus Overdrive. I spent the morning trying different cloud textures and themes but I could not reproduce something like this screenshot:

Looks extremely realistic and just like the clouds that would be use in movies. Does anyone know the theme or texture set that was used for those clouds in the screenshot?

 

The video description says it's REX Essentials Plus textures, but so far I haven't had any luck.

I just got a reply from REX team - it's an edit. And I got tricked :blink:

Looks like a real cloud layer to me, are you sure that is supposed to be an FS video?

Yeah the REX support team verified that parts of the video (like the RyanAir 737) is FSX + REX. \

 

However - if you look at that cloud layer scene with the JAL 777 again, it switches to a cockpit shot, which is clearly the PMDG 777, and you can see the exact same clouds on the outside. So either that's an amazing edit that fooled all of us, or it's possible to simulate those clouds. Though I believe it's an edit.

That's pretty good! With some enbseries or sweetfx that would be very close to the video indeed!
