I just downloaded and installed the voice version of FS2Crew for the Airbus.I am running v1.16 of the Airbus. When I use the Airbus Config tool to install the voice version I get a message that my panel.cfg can't be changed. I have UAC disabled and have run the config tool as Administrator.

 

However, when I check the panel.cfgs for the Airbuses they are all modified with some FS2Crew entries. But my panel.cfg files bear no resemblance to the one Brian posted in this forum. I have many more default window entries in the list at the top of the cfg. And no entries at the top for FS2Crew windows. I do have the specs for the FS2Crew windows appended at the bottom of the panel.cfg, but the window numbers duplicate those already assigned to the Airbus windows.

 

Something is obviously very wrong here. Can anyone help straighten this out?

Not sure what  you've done there, but it sounds like your panel.cfg is messed up.

 

I suggest starting fresh.

 

Uninstall the Aerosoft Airbus.

 

Manually delete any left over panel.cfg files.

 

Re-install it again.

 

Then re-enable FS2Crew via the Config Manager.
