December 30, 201312 yr I am about to purchase FTX Global scenery following its recent good reviews. I already have GEX installed and I understand that I will need to unistall this.I also have UTX for USA and Europe installed and I believe that I can keep this but to just uninstall the night lighting. My main question is in respect of where the FTX Global is placed within the scenery library. Currently my library is laid out as follows; Airports VFR Airfields(Horizon) Iceland X 1 and 2 FTX(Pacific North West) UTX USA UTX Europe Edwards Air Force Base etc. So therefore I am wondering where I should place the FTX Global within my current scenery add-on's Any help would be appreciated. Many thanks in advance. Michael Michael Broom

December 30, 201312 yr Michael, The below info I received somewhere on the Orbx website a while back. I have mine setup as shown. The only thing I don't have installed now are the UTX prgms. I didn't install my UTX programs as I was waiting on purchasing Vector and finding out the reviews on UTX and Vector compatibility. What I've read so far is that they work together with a little tweaking here and there, so, I'm thinking of reinstalling. But, I also have FS Global 2010 installed. "Your FTX Global entries (ORBX!OPENLC_EUROPE1 and ORBX!OPENLC_BASE) should be below your FTX EU ENG content.FTX Regions go above FTX Global, as per Rob Newman's list.So essentially, in terms of your FTX products it's(Top)FTX AirportsFTX RegionsFTX GlobalUTX (if you use it)Other sceneryDefault FSX scenery"If you have other addon scenery you may have to experiment a little by placing that addon scenery up or down on the list. I had an addon scenery that wouldn't show up until I put it at the top of the list. And, it didn't interfere with anything so it worked just fine there. Hope this helped.....Rod Rod Beck
April 21, 201412 yr Hi all, I know this thread is a few months old but I'd like to know where to place the ORBX Vector files in the scenery library order. I was having problems with a few airports. Thank you
April 21, 201412 yr For all Orbx products including the Global airport sets I let the install program put them wherever it decides to put them. For all non-Orbx sceneries I place them in the scenery library alphabetical order higher than the Orbx sceneries with the exception of FSAddon's Tongass Fjords which is immediately below the Orbx sceneries as recommended when you have SAK installed. I have the Global insertion point set to Tongass Fjords. Those sceneries that I have residing higher than Orbx include OZX's Grand Canyon and Death Valley as well as FSAddon's Vancouver and all the Return to Misty Moorings Sceneries and Pete and Sid's Alaska airports outside the SAK region. It all seems to wotk as far as I can tell. Noel The tires are worn. The shocks are shot. The steering is wobbly. But the engine still runs fine.
