January 2, 201412 yr I have FSUIPC set to autosave the flight, and I also occasionally save it manually, and it registered that it was saving the flight, but only saved the FSX version, and not a RC file. I flew earlier in the day, and saved it the same way, and had no problems, what causes RC4 to forget the folder you set for FSX saves?
January 2, 201412 yr *.rcd files are saved as well. Sometimes the path gets lost from the RC interface, and your file gets saved somewhere "in space" (Explorer search will retrieve it). Just re-configure the path and you'll be fine the next time. What happened to AVSIM
January 2, 201412 yr Also check the actual settings in the keyboard assignments. If not used elsewhere "shift ;" works well. It is also very important when setting the flt-wxr path in RC, never to cancel out of the browser without reselecting the path else it might corrupt RC's configuration file (.dat in its main folder). Always use the OK button there. To avoid a reinstall it is useful to create a folder under RC called config-back. From the main RC folders copy keyboard.dat and rcv3.dat into that backup folder. Those files will include your key, paths, and file you used for a flightplan in your last session at the time you back them up.
