Greetings.  On engine start all the start switches are pulled and 3+4 fuel cutoff levers are put in cut off. This problem was fixed with the update but I just had to do a ground up reinstall and now the update is not making a difference.

Were the switches in the cutoff position prior to engine start?

I got it fixed...I set the keyboard to fs2crew and now the update works...just a note but the instructions only say to set the panel config...for me I needed to do both...anyway im glad its working...thanks for your quick response and please keep the products coming!
