FlyTampa Vienna X and Landing Lights

Featured Replies

Hi,

one of my favorite airports is FlyTampa's Vienna X. But using DX10 Scenery Fixer I do have no landing lights (white/red three lights left of each runway). Looking into the FlyTampa Forum other users also mentioned this and got the answer: Vienna X is not compatible to DX10 and we do not intend to fix this problem as we see no future for FSX with DX10. But until now this is the only real problem I have with DX10 and Vienna X.

Is there any way to fix this problem in DX10 Scenery Fixer because there is the option for "compatible lights"? Can't you include those lights into the feature. Or is there a way to replace those lights in Vienna X with the FSX standard lights? Thanks.

Regards,

Rolf

Not true at all. Vinenna X just got a big (free) update with DX10 support. I think version 2.5. All the lights are now working under DX10. I'm flying there almost every day..

Hi Marek,

Do you use FSX or Prepar3D V2? Sorry for FSX but please see the link below:

http://www.flytampa.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=6483&start=14. The solution at least works with DX10...... even that you cannot switch it on during daylight like the original version (NAV 2 = 113.00).

So if you have a better solution then please tell me where I can get this update. I bought it from Aerosoft and the actual version 2,5  I already installed.

Regards,

Rolf
