January 10, 201412 yr I'd like to hear what people have set for the various ASN settings. For example I notice the default cloud draw distance is 90, but the upper visibility default is 150. So that means I can see 150 miles all around in a clear day, yet I will only see clouds for 90 miles? That kind of sounds stupid. So do I have to set clouds to 150 if I want proper cloud coverage? It is confusing since in-game the settings for vis and clouds are only up to 110mi.

January 10, 201412 yr I always set the max visibility slightly lower than the maximum cloud draw distance so that I get clouds as far as I can see. Here are my settings, a compromise between FPS & looks I'm happy with. max cloud draw distance at 90 (default) Max surface visibility at 50 Max upper visibilty at 80 KInd regards Jean-Paul I7 8700K / Fractal Design Celsius S24 watercooling / ASRock Z370 Extreme4 motherboard / Corsair 32GB 3200mhz DDR4 / INNO3D iChiLL GeForce GTX 1080 Ti X3 / Samsung SSD 960 EVO M.2 PCIe NVMe 500GB / Seasonic-SSR-850FX power supply / Fractal Design Define R5 Black case / AOC Q3279VWF 32″ 2560x1440 monitor / Benq GL2450 24″ 1920x1080 monitor / Track-IR 4
