Hello All,

I am a newbie, and did a search, but was unable to find help. I am using FSX with acceleration pack. I have Feelthere ejets v1 and 2. I am trying to load flightplan after loading PP.  The PP loads, but then when I go to FPL page, the origin airport is not displayed. Just yellow lines. Any advice?

Is the ATT FAIL warning still on the PFD?

No Dan,

ATT Fail is extinguished. It is almost like there is nothing in the nav database.  Could the fsx nav database not be loaded when using the feelthere ejets?

It should be loaded. What airport are starting out at and did you try entering it?

I tried JFK and DCA. I did try entering it with no Luck. I also can not enter a destination. I also can not pull up anything in Nav Ident. The Pos Sensors show the lat long for JFK, but no fixes or points seem to be known in the data base. Any ideas???

No, I don't. Maybe it has something to do with Acceleration. If it isn't that, my only other guess is that something went wrong with the download or installation.

 

Where did you purchase them?

I purchased them at FSPilotshop.com.  I actually went to the harddrive and found the nd folder empty, I then purchased Navgraph data base, and STILL no luck. Sounds like I may need to reinstall the programs. Anyone have any other ideas?

So I reloaded from the disc. All is the same. My steps:

I go to the config utility. Select cold and dark. Select E175. Start FSX. Select E175. Select KJFK. Select day. Select VFR Weather. Hit Fly Now.

Cockpit comes up cold and dark. Batteries on, Apu started. Go to Nav,next,posit init, select 3R (GPS) it shows loaded. I then go to flight Plan expecting to see KJFK, but instead see yellow lines.  I am unable to plug in KJFK. Is any of that wrong?

reads like you have a win8 version of the mDAC fault.

your OS is faulty. your computer is missing a basic database reader or the references to the reader are corrupt. the reader is a standard OS component and should be present.

When I click on the link it tells me I do not have access. I also understand they are at a stand still for new registration because of a hack attack. This is another clue, I just do not know what it means:

Add New String Value "Driver" with value: C:\Windows\system32\odbcjt32.dll

Add New String Value "Setup" with value: C:\Windows\system32\odbcjt32.dll


3. HKEY_LOVAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Wow6432Node/ODBC/ODBCINST.INI/Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb, *accdb) 
Add New String Value "Driver" with value: C:\PROGRA~2\COMMON~1\MICROS~1\OFFICE12\ACEODBC.DLL

Hey Scoob,

Is this something a local computer place would understand? I am trying to run some E 175 scenarios for some training I am doing so if I could pay a local computer expert to track this down I would.

i have no idea ... i'm not that into computers.

 

the solution you noted is for win7 ... no idea if will work for win8.

 

hope a person knowing the 'bowels of the win OS' is reading can assist.

will be a LONG time as the 'join forum' side of the site is shut down and all requests go into file 13.

 

likely feelThere will be opening a new forum on a different server that has better anti-spammer defenses.  no timeline yet as looking at options/costs

 

(as i type this the forum is going under another 'swarm attack' the the Chinese spammers attempting to post with their shut-down usernames and then flooding the registration system with new account requests.)
