January 13, 201412 yr Commercial Member Minor correction on the MV-407... it works in both FSX and P3D v1.4 for the same price. It's only if you want it for V2 that the price goes up and there's a very good reason for that... As well, you're not paying double. You're paying 59.99 for both instead of 39.99. That's 20 bucks more. Please contact oisin at milviz dot com for forum registration information. Please provide proof of purchase if you want support. Also, include the username you wish to have.

I'm not sure if I'll get on P3Dv2 at all, anytime soon, or rather wait for a 64bit version and see how that plays out with the addon market; but still... I'm a bit afraid to get the Flight1-wrapped version because I'm probably going to like it so much, I'll keep it and be 40 bucks poorer ;-)
January 14, 201412 yr Commercial Member So now I'm trying to decide which one to get; the Milviz 407 looks very good - but it's also very new, so I couldn't find an in-depth review yet, its very expensive, and I don't like the fact that you pay double (or almost double) when you want it to work in P3D as well. The Dodosim Bell is a bit old, though it still probably is the reference as far as FD go - but I like a bit of bling, so...Then there's the Cera Bells, and I'm in love with the Bell 222 - fast, sleek, looks stunning, plus there's HTR profiles for that one so I'm hoping for a realistic flight experience. Probably will get that one. But then there's also the Cera 412, which looks nice too... ;-) All good choices. I've been quite enjoying the MV 407 lately. I'm not up for writing in depth reviews, but to be honest, I've found very little that I dislike, only a few very minor personal things that I wouldn't even call an issue. As far as payware goes, I've been very pleased with it. Actually, although I very much appreciate that Milviz offers the option of the Flight1 wrapper, they've gained enough of my trust that I don't use it. You really can't go wrong with the Dodosim 206 either; but really only if flight modelling is more important than visuals to you (although there is a model upgrade in the works). January 14, 201412 yr Author Awright, I made it quick and got me the Bell 222 yesternight, plus the little flightmodel patch and HTR profile from hovercontrol and a dozen liveries Love it so far! Will spend a lot of time in this one the next weeks I believe - and the MV407 is up on the short list, when I feel the itch the next time.
