January 6, 200521 yr I haven't experienced problems with CS707 crashing FS9 myself. As for one aircraft not having an APU, tell me which aircraft model and I'll double check my own system to confirm if you would like.
January 6, 200521 yr Passenger variants don't have the APU, but both the cargo and E-3 models do. Also, I haven't had any sound problems with that plane.Jeff USAF Jeff Commercial | Instrument | Multi-Engine Land AMD 5600X, RTX3070, 32MB RAM, 2TB SSD
January 6, 200521 yr Which sound card are you using? I have a SBLive and had terrible distorting sounds and crackling noises after changing views. I recently fixed it when I discovered the SB Live Win XP drivers were the problem. I installed the latest drivers from Creative and the problem has gone. BTW there is no need to install everything in the pack, just the drivers will do. In fact I seem to remember installing everything in the pack a while back and it didn't help, however I'm not sure if the version then was the same as the one I have now. You might need to go into sound properties to update the drivers manually, as I found that XP always wants to install the XP driver version.
