You might ask that question in the FSX Forum but I doubt it.  If you want to know what caused your crash you should post an AppCrashView report (see AVSIM CTD Guide for link/guidance).

I had an issue with FSRecoder crashing a lot. The culprit was ENB mod. I removed all the ENB files and never had a crash with FSRecorder again.  If your running enb or sweet FX try removing them. As for your flight I don't think its recoverable I`m afraid.

Thanks for the replying and giving that info about ENB's. I was also experiencing quite a lot of those CTD probably it's to do with those ENB's as well . I had to do a fresh FSX install, now I'm going step by step on what not and what to install.

What Addons would you recommend to install that are meant not to work best?

ENB & Sweet FX have caused me many headaches so I stay away from them.  Really a FSX install is such a personal thing depending on what you want to fly.  For me I start with installing scenery like FTX regions first then airports then aircraft.  The trick is to boot FSX in between each install and make sure that it works.

Makes troubleshooting a lot easier.  I have a 300gb install with no photoscenery so that's a serious amount of work. I recommend you back it all up when your done to save any future full re-installs if things go pear shaped.

Good luck with the install ;)
