[RESOLVED] P3Dv4 CTD when run AS16
LdeeFsx247 replied to clive6354's topic in Crash To Desktop (CTD) Forum
Hi, Clive6354 Can you please help I'm having the same problem my P3Dv4 is crashing to desktop once I takeoff which I assume is the issue you were facing. I have noticed after CTD AS16 is generating an error window shown here: I have uninstalled AS16, ENVTEX, and reinstalled it but still, P3dV4 is CTD with the same error. Any idea or suggestions as to how you solved yours, thanks in advance. -
172P G1000 - WebSimXML.DLL triggers CTD in P3D V4

Hi, Rob to start with thanks for sharing a great review on this plane which made me purchase it really amazing plane to fly. You always shared great support in flight simulation community which I envy and really appreciate please keep up the good work. Out of curiosity hope you don't mind helping regards to rudder pedals proper setup. I know different hardware and pc setup configuration tend to differ across the board which makes it rather impossible to match or achieve reasonable similar performance outcome. My question is how did you set up your rudder pedals to achieve smooth taxi and proper lining on the runway without veering of side to side which is my biggest challenge I'm facing on this plane. I have fsuipc and tried tweaking slopes calibration but still no joy to get that perfect sweet spot be it .throttles, rudder etc. Any help on this as to what you are using or how you did I would appreciate, thanks in advance...Cheers!!! Hi, I'm also experiencing the same issue here every time I exit P3dV4.1 my Chase Plane crashes all the time. Another issue is when I launch P3d chase plane loads up but there will be no cameras on the Chase plane interface most of the menu tabs will be greyed out apart from preferences. Is there a solution to the above-mentioned issues? Lloyd

Hi, guys can you please help I was suffering stutters and low fps on my rig, Win 7 Pro i7 3770k @4.4ghz, Gtx 980ti 6gb, 16gb Ram DDR3, When I applied AM=116 tweak I've just managed to complete my first flight without a crash in Fslabs A320 P3dV4.1 and at least reasonable frames. Task manager affinity P3dV4.1 = core 2,4,5,6 AS16 = core 0,1,3,7 Chaseplane= core 0,1,3,7 TrackIR= core 0,1,3,7 Priority (High) The only issue I came across was sound stutters not sure where it came from but sim wise and performance I had no stutters at all. Question: I'm also not sure whether to continue using AM=116 or AM=84 with respect to my CPU i7 3770k, I have always had HT=On even without AM Tweak? The only other tweak I added was FIBER_FRAME_TIME_FRACTION=0.01 but none the less I have seen a huge improvement. Lloyd

Hi PAINMAN,can you please shed a bit of light on this which 3 MSI files do you mean, thanks. regards Lloyd -
Hi I also have the same problem of lights not illuminating the ground. I have searched a lot of forums online and mist were talking about X graphics causing this conflict of which I don't have that installed. The other app i heard could be causing issues is the REX, but I have REX4 Texture direct which doesn't have the option to disable airplane lights not sure if it's Rex essential Overdrive. I'll try the options mentioned above using the "L" key and toggling the fuel dump switch and see if there will any changes. Else if this issue was resolved please can you help I would really appreciate. Regards Ldee247

Hi did you get this resolved at all, I'm also having the same issue with the PMDG MD11 lighting on the ground. I have REX4 texture direct but cant seem to find the option to disable the airplane lights. I heard with option disabled it resolves this issue. Any help is greatly appreciated. regards Ldee247
