ASN Winds Aloft By Waypoint Data Compared with Exported PFPX

I noticed that the winds aloft by waypoint data results differ between what is exported by PFPX into the PMDG T7 .wx file and what is reported by ASN when importing PFPX Flight plan into ASN.

If I plan on running Real Time Real world weather in ASN should I cut and paste the ASN Briefing results into the PMDG .wx file or use what's already been imported directly into the .wx file by PFPX?

Also I noticed the PFPX Winds Aloft .wx file for PMDG has 5 columns and ASN Winds Aloft briefing only has 4 columns (does this matter)?

I'm considering using the ASN cut and paste as I may plan a flight at night and not fly the route till the next day when the weather has changed...

Thanks!

Did you notice that PFPX has a "Departure Time" and you can change that?

Weather at 0100z isn't the same as the weather at 0200z never mind 1000z.
I believe ActiveSky Next exports wind as it is "Now"

PFPX deftinatley exports wind based on the time you set the "Departure Time" and the expected time over any given waypoint. You can even go into the map display, turn on the Winds Aloft display and slide the "Forecast Time" up and back (within the 30 hours of available forecast for such things) and watch the wind points change direction & speed as the hours click through.

If you plan your flight the night before and expect to actually fly it in 10 hours time, don't tell PFPX you are departing in 40 minutes from now (which seems to be roughly the default timeframe it does). Edit the "Departure time" to be what you are actually going to be using (otherwise PFPX will give you a forecast wind-speed for a point in time when you aren't going to be there.)

Also make PFPX use ASN for it's weather reports.
