January 21, 201412 yr It looks like Flight1 Tech has released their GA Panel a few days back: http://www.flight1tech.com/Shop/ProductDetails/tabid/91/ProductID/29/Default.aspx I wanted to see if anyone else is using this before I pulled the trigger on it. Any feedback? Looks promising for a home cockpit setup and looks like it is compatible with FSX and P3D.
January 21, 201412 yr So it's basically a 2D panel (looks like their old Skyhawk) but it works in P3D? | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
January 21, 201412 yr Author So it's basically a 2D panel (looks like their old Skyhawk) but it works in P3D? Yes, it looks like their old Skyhawk panel in the picture. The brief description says that it is customizable... so I'm wondering if you can import gauges? I think what makes this standout is that it can also be run from another computer connected through the network.
January 21, 201412 yr The Peix GAPanel has been around for years, can also be run from a second pc, and is one fifth the price. I've had it running in my pit for years. I can thoroughly recommend it.
January 21, 201412 yr Project Magenta has an IFR panel too. I remember I paid $100 for it. You can download the full version and install it and test it out.. It will run for 10 minutes or so and exit. Just double click and run it again ...if you want. Manny Beta tester for SIMStarter

I currently have a dilemma: I'm in the process of putting a pit together for my PPL profiiciency and currently run FSX. I will be moving over to P3D and was wondering if these would be updated for P3D as welll?
January 22, 201412 yr I tested the demo of this Peix GAPanel. The refresh rate of the Attitude Indicator is terrible. No way it would be suitable for IFR training. The gauges has to be smooth. Since this FLight1 Gauges are made using OpenGL, I think they might be very smooth. Alexis Mefano
