January 10, 200521 yr Yup. Haven't flown hardly any VFR for a loooong time. Mostly heavies. But since I purchased Misty Fjords I have flown almost entirely VFR. This scenery is simply incredible.
January 10, 200521 yr It is amazing. It is the most immersive experience I have had flying MSFS. I never want to fly anywhere else now. Every day they have new free scenery to add to the area. With the cruise ships, boats, cabins, AI float planes and everything else that is currently under development, it just keeps on getting better and better. Just check out http://www.mistymoorings.com/ for info and all the great things they have to download and are working on.
January 10, 200521 yr I think it's the best scenery addon for FS9 so far.Since I bought it I almost never flies another place. And the freeware sceneries for it are growing every day, with new lodges, seaplane bases,AI traffic, repaints etc etc.Johnny"I'LL BE BACK"[div align=center]http://www.avsim.com/hangar/fly/josve/pmdg.jpg ][/div
January 10, 200521 yr I second the other statements. The best add on ever for Ms. Feels like home..Don
January 10, 200521 yr Misty set a new standard. First it was Emma field, them Darrenington, then Orcas Island.... Misty is the best that has ever been done. I design scenery and Beta'd this scenery.Joe W Joe Watson Lake Placid, Florida
January 10, 200521 yr I have the scenery and I'm quite happy with it. It's not my favorite scenery addon though because it gets a little repetetive after a while. With very few towns and airfields I soon run out of patience after flying past the 100th peak or fjord that looks identical to the last one - without seeing anything but a repeating forest texture tile and water :)This probably isn't a problem with the scenery though but more of a charactersistic of the real area being simulated. I've found the Cascades suit me the best - Alaska and the Rockies are too "empty" - the Alps are too crowded (there's alp hutsd and roads and towns everywhere) - the Cascades are the perfect "blend" :D -
January 11, 200521 yr Well, I've been there "for real" and I really like it. It's about as accurate as anything I've seen for FS. It's really like it shows folks. :D
