Just attempting to fly first tutorial after loading RC v4.3. Cannot find the flight plan for KDSM-KORD. I must have done something wrong but can't think what. Any ideas please.

It should be in your RC4x directory under Tutorials.

If you want to find it as you would a normal Flight plan, you will have to move it to the same folder where your own Flight plans are saved.

The tutorial flight plans in the tutorial folder under yourcv4 or rcv4x are named such as;

v4 1 KDSM-KORD.pln

 

The "1" indicates the tutorial number as indicated in the table on page 137 of the rcv43 pdf manual.

 

As Ian started you need to copy this file into where you load your .pln files so FS can find it as well as RC. This is usually the same folder you set where your .flt/.wx files are stored and you set in the RC paths setup.

 

If you do not have the rcv43.pdf manual it can be downloaded from the documents section on jdtllc.com.
