January 25, 201412 yr I want to delete the Shade program. It's been in my fsx folder for so long I cannot remember if it replaced any files. I know there is a folder called Shade that you delete, is there anything else I need to do to return to pre-Shade status? Sent from my LG-D801 using Tapatalk Eric

January 30, 201412 yr Commercial Member All it does is replace your sky textures, and it puts them all back when you close the sim. (unless you do something and I can't remember what that was, run Shade_nl.exe maybe?) At any rate if you have REX or whatever and you install another set of sky textures Shade is gone from your sim regardless, then it's just a matter of uninstalling the program itself or deleting files or whatever you decide to do. Jim Unless the Shade profiles you used was installed with the "Set and Forget" mode. Then a back up is made and Shade remains until you restore. If you did a one time install Eric you should be fine, as Jim said. Yeah, that's the one I was looking for, "Set and forget". ...but even then if you do something that overwrites your sky textures it's gone.
