Saitek Multi panel will not light

Featured Replies

I have Saitek multi panel and radio panel. Suddenly the led numeral panel will not light on the multi panel but the other buttons such as NAV, APP, ALT etc. all work and function. The radio panel functions properly.. Both panels work but cannot get the readout on the multi panel. It was working fine for a couple of years even after upgrading to Windows 8 but suddenly it will not light. Have switched USB ports but still have the problem. I am running SPAD and do not have Saitek installed. Could it be the panel LED is bad. Open to any ideas. Thanks

try changing the USB port, ensure you test it by plugging the multi panel directly into the PC and not via a hub or the yokes built in hub. If the issue still persists then I believe its faulty. if the issue goes away then you are overloading your USB hub.

Exact same problem here.  Worked for a few years then started intermittently losing the LED Display.  Would come back after rebooting and or changing USB ports.  I have even tried just plugging in this device with nothing else connected.  Now, no LED Display for the past week?  Everything else on the panel works fine.

No Saitek drivers, strictly using SPAD; FSUIPC has no bearing on this panel.

I wonder if it is really bad, maybe a broken lead in the cable, possibly a conflict with another program or something in Win8.1x64?
