I installed the C90 and it uploaded the default FMS data. I also downloaded a new Airac cycle but cannot get it to update in the C90. I see in the CarenadoNavigraph folder it still shows the 2013 cycle. In my PMDG folder it shows the updated Airac cycle. If I try to copy the PMDG updated cycle into the CarenadoNavigraph folder it does not seem to work. Can anyone advice what I may be doing wrong. Thanks. I'm running Steam FSX. My main Staem folder is on a HDD but I moved FSX to a SSD. Maybe this is causing confusion with the program? Thanks.

Can anyone advise how to put new navigraph data into the C90. I upgraded to latest Airac cycle but it remains the 2013 default. I am using FSX Steam but after using FSX originally then switching to Steam my files are all over and a new install of Steam FSX and all my add owns would be the best thing I'm trying to put that on hold for now. I have the PMDG 737NGX also. Do I have to copy and paste the Airac cycle from the PMDG into Carenado Navigraph folder to overwrite the 2013 default? Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks

Guess Ill give it a try but hate to waste a download. Wish Carenado would be more informative. Thank You Shows same size and name to me so didn't download it. I purchased it on Jan 9th but seems this update was released after that date??

It doesn't show as an upgrade on the Carenado sight. How do I know its not the original version rather than the updated one? Thanks.

Hi Fi tech responded and told me to set up support ticket which I did. Here is what they sent me overnight. Please check the following folder has both read/write permissions. Right click on the following folder. C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX or C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v2 or C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX-SE Under the security tab there should be an entry under Groups or User Names for "Everyone" with checkmarks in all the allow columns. ** PLEASE STATE WHICH FIREWALL/ANTIVIRUS SOFTWARE YOU ARE USING. ** Can you please send the following files as file attachments: Locations of these files are listed below: 1: Most recent session logs 2: dll.xml file 3: fsx.CFG 4: FSUIPC4 log 5: FSUIPC4.ini

Sorry if this was posted before but I could not find it in the forums. Myself and my uncle both use ASN and FSX and when we start FSX we get the error "Flight Sim is attemptingto start'as_btstrp_config_manager' (Version 1.0.1.1 Config Entry Number 2. Do you want to run this program as_srv_as_btstrp_config_manager.exe" I choose yes everytime but each time I open FSX I get posed the same question. As of now am running the SP# and SteamFSX-SE with latest update. Thanks

Thats probably it. I just went and turned DX10 on and it still did it and I was parked at FUEL PUMP! I moved it to regular spot and they both worked. Thanks.

Just thought of something. Didn't have dx10 checked. That's probably it. When I have dx10 enabled my runways and airports get broken frames.

I can't get the cabin door to stay open. It opens then slams shut. Parking brake is set and everything turned off. What am I doing wrong. Thanks.

Same here. Did a short flight to test bugs from Newark to Boston and had the de-ice on probe the whole way but had no airspeed indication until I dropped below freeze temperature. Also I noticed glide slope altitude was too high on ILS approach and had to disengage AP and land manual.

I notice with Windows 8.1 that my Saitek flight panels will turn on and off when playing other PC games. Is there anyway I can prevent this from happening. I am using SPAD and never noticed them come on during PC games other than FSX. Also I have to start and restart SPAD several times to get the numeral panel to light on the multi-panel. All the controls will work but the numeral screen will not light. Thanks

I have Saitek multi panel and radio panel. Suddenly the led numeral panel will not light on the multi panel but the other buttons such as NAV, APP, ALT etc. all work and function. The radio panel functions properly.. Both panels work but cannot get the readout on the multi panel. It was working fine for a couple of years even after upgrading to Windows 8 but suddenly it will not light. Have switched USB ports but still have the problem. I am running SPAD and do not have Saitek installed. Could it be the panel LED is bad. Open to any ideas. Thanks

Can anyone advise what the FURN switch is for. Can't find it in the only two manuals I can find for the aircraft. Wish Carenado would publish a more comprehensive manual for FSX. Do not want to spend 50-70 dollars for the actual manual. Thanks.

Why then would a heavier weight be a higher climb speed other than the extra lift is needed. I would think a lighter weight would entail a higher attainable climb speed. I'm guessing these numbers must be minimum climb speeds for given weight?

That's a big help. Even though it is a sim I like to fly as realistic as possible. This will be a big help. Thanks for your time. The carenado model is a nice flying plane. I was looking for charts showing recommended configurations fot takeoffs, landings, approach, Vy, Vx, Vs, Vso, take off and climb out speeds, etc. this does not provide near enough info. Yes I can probably find it online but thought this would be provided for 40 dollars and not sure the online charts would be specific to this aircraft. Plane could not be flown safely or effectively without these charts. Thanks for the reply.

Is it me or are the Vref charts missing. Can't find them in any of the documents. All I have are the cruise charts. Does anyone have them? Thanks
