You'll need to provide more information ... screen shots of your P3DV2 settings would be a good start, location at the time of low fps, any 3rd party add-ons, etc. etc.

I haven't installed any add-ons yet.

There are too many options and I am just trying options as much as possible

First of all: make sure the P3D v2 window is active: click on it! If the window doesn't have focus, performance will drop like a bomb. So whenever things (suddenly) get choppy, click on the main window. Hiding the menu also helps (press and hold Alt).

If that didn't help, set all options one or two notches down from what P3D v2 offered you as default, turn off all reflections and shadows, don't let any slider be higher than medium and see what that does to performance. If performance is okay with those settings, slowly and one by one turn options on/set them higher, starting with the things you prefer to see in the sim (some like a lot of reflections, some like none, some like a lot of shadows, some like none). Stop changing settings when you see performance going down again.

I'm not trying to be sarcastic, a smart-a** or anything like that but we do have a P3D Tips and Tricks Forum here where settings are posted and tweaks too.  Why do we have to go through all of this again when the answer to the OP's questions are most likely posted in the Tips and Tricks Forum?  Is that forum a waste of time?  We come up with these fancy forum names and no one wants to use them (I did not come up with the idea for a Tips and Tricks Forum)?  If you have a tip or trick that you think everyone should be aware of, then you need to post it in the Tips and Tricks forum and not embed it in a topic that will soon be lost in the thousands of other topics.  Likewise, if you see a tip or trick that is inaccurate, then you need to let us know and I or one of the AVSIM Moderators will remove it.  We are getting ready to get down to the serious business of another update to P3D from LM and  many of the settings you are recommending today may not be applicable tomorrow.  Hope you all understand.
