January 31, 201412 yr Hello I'm experiencing a few issues at the moment and would like to know the following. I have three FSX folders on my PC. One is the main FSX folder (I think it's what you call main) this is located in C\FSX. Then there is c\users\user name\appdata\roaming\Microsoft\FSX. This one is duplicated in c\users\username\\applicationdata\microsft\FSX. Why are there three and what is the difference between appdata and application data? Thanks all Regards Alan
January 31, 201412 yr C:\FSX is the main FSX application, appdata\roaming\microsoft\fsx contains Fsx configuration files, and the third I do not know. I never had it. Ryzen 5 1600x - 16GB DDR4 - RTX 3050 8GB - MSI Gaming Plus
January 31, 201412 yr The following uninstall/reinstall guide provides the location of all of your directories for FSX both hidden and unhidden - http://support.precisionmanuals.com/KB/a87/how-to-uninstall-and-reinstall-fsx.aspx. The duplicated folder that you refer to (c\users\username\\applicationdata\microsft\FSX) does not exist. As you can see in the link, there are many FSX folders, hidden and unhidden, on your computer.
