February 4, 201412 yr Hi Everyone I recently bit the bullet and invested in ASN and PFPX to compliment the PMDG B77L. So far it all looks fantastic. I did my first flight the other night after having a look at several of Kyle's PFPX tutorial. When setting up the B77L as a template it shows drag, climb cruise and descent bias values at 100% in the tutorial however when I try and set mine up it shows climb cruise and descent bias' of 104%. Given that PFPX was downloaded only a few days ago, is this template something that has been modified/updated by the makers to give better values for the PMDG B77L? Any help would be appreciated. February 4, 201412 yr Commercial Member I did my first flight the other night after having a look at several of Kyle's PFPX tutorial. Not gonna lie, I think it's kinda cool that my name is in the title of a post here... Thanks for watching, too! When setting up the B77L as a template it shows drag, climb cruise and descent bias values at 100% in the tutorial however when I try and set mine up it shows climb cruise and descent bias' of 104%. I'd agree with your assessment that it's just because I recorded that a while ago, and there's likely an adjustment to the data to make it a little more accurate. Kyle Rodgers
February 4, 201412 yr Author Thanks Kyle, I wasn't sure if had done something inadvertant to change the values or it was something the makers of PFPX had updated to make the profile more accurate. Does your PFPX update itself to reflect these changes? Regards Barra i7 7700K, 16GB 3200MHz DDR4, GTX1070 OC 8GB, 1TB Samsung SSD for OS and P3D4.4, W10 64Bit, Corsair H115i Water Cooling
February 5, 201412 yr Commercial Member Does your PFPX update itself to reflect these changes? Welcome. I haven't flown the 777 in a little while, so I haven't checked. I've downloaded and updated PFPX a couple of times between then and now, though, so I'd bet that I'd see what you see, yes. Kyle Rodgers
February 5, 201412 yr I might add that it is not for 100% sure if it updates those values or only the templates. Because you use your airplanes which were created using the template. So chances are you use the old values after update. Kind regards, Stefan Sondermann
