February 5, 201412 yr Hi everyone, I have an Nvidia graphics card installed (GTX 780) and I recently purchased and installed Rex Essentials w/ Overdrive.I was following a guide to installing and using Nvidia Inspector (http://www.simforums.com/forums/driv...opic36586.html)But when I look at some of the settings I'm asked to change, it looks like things that the Rex program would cover? Am I not understanding something or is there an overlap between what Nvidia Inspector does and what the Rex program does to FSX?Should I even bother using the Nvidia Inspector if I'm going to use Rex? I'd sincerely appreciate some clarification. Thank you very much!
February 5, 201412 yr Rex and Nvidia Inspector are 100,000 miles apart. Rex provides textures for clouds, sky, water etc. Not sure how you are confusing the two. NV Insp is for creating a profile for FSX in regards to graphic settings. Nothing to do with texture replacement.
