February 25, 201412 yr Yes. DX9 and DX10 are different graphics engines. pj i7 [email protected] | 32GB RAM | EVGA RTX 3080Ti | Maximus Hero VII | 512GB 860 Pro | 512GB 850 Pro | 256GB 840 Pro | 2TB 860 QVO | 1TB 870 EVO | Seagate 3TB Cloud | EVGA 1000 GQ | Win10 Pro | EK Custom water cooling.
February 25, 201412 yr Author Yes that is clear! But is there a way to avoid these "graphic bugs" or how we can call it? regards Patrick
February 25, 201412 yr Hi Patrick, Do you have Ground shadows enabled ? In DX10. I have Leeds airport, so I can check it for you. Get back to you later today. WinWing FCU, EFIS, MCDU
February 25, 201412 yr Author No I don't have ground shadows or aircraft shadows enabled. Thanks in advance for reporting :-) regards Patrick
February 25, 201412 yr Patrick, Are you using "Bloom" in DX10 ? I just checked and cannot see anything incorrect @ Leeds. Check your General Shaders settings, and under bloom, set all the sliders to 60 ( I find 60 the best setting). Make sure Headlights and Lights (Alpha/Halo) are set to "Always Off" Ohh yes, make sure bloom is enabled in fsx. Ensure that "8Bit Texture fix is un ticked. Let us know how it goes. February 25, 201412 yr Author I don't use "Bloom" and my legacy shader is at "Balanced". Did you checked the scenery at night?I read somewhere about the Headlights, but what does that mean? I try it!Will report back tomorrow. EDIT: I also deleted my shader cache, but that didn't helped. regards Patrick
February 26, 201412 yr Author So I turned off the headlights, lights and the issue is still there... I'm on a dead end :( regards Patrick
February 26, 201412 yr Have you tested with bloom enable ?. As PJ indicated above, they are miles apart DX9 and 10. You won't see what you expect to see with bloom disabled. I found UK2000 airports are best suited having bloom enabled. February 26, 201412 yr "I'm on a dead end" Patrick - Did you try moving the Legacy Slider to the left one or two notches? It looks like Gary Summons is in the ballpark, when he mentioned the tunnel... You followed that with: "Found the issue. It is DX10! The first shot is with DX10 and the second is without DX10..." ...So Gary's scenery is not fully compatible. Why not ask Gary if he - like Orbx and Fly Tampa are doing - would care to create a small DX10 patch for his scenery? pj i7 [email protected] | 32GB RAM | EVGA RTX 3080Ti | Maximus Hero VII | 512GB 860 Pro | 512GB 850 Pro | 256GB 840 Pro | 2TB 860 QVO | 1TB 870 EVO | Seagate 3TB Cloud | EVGA 1000 GQ | Win10 Pro | EK Custom water cooling.
February 27, 201412 yr Author Yes I tried it with the legacy shader.. I will ask Gary if a fix is possible. regards Patrick
March 14, 201412 yr Author Hey Steve, with v2 of your fixer you introduced a new issue with the PAPI lights of UK2000 scenery's at night. Are you able to check that? And can you take a look to my first post in this thread? I use the current nVidia driver (335.28). Edit: happen on all UK2000 airports, dissabling the v2 Transparency logic did the trick. regards Patrick
