Kicking myself for having missed the latest opportunity to earn your "Under the Trestles".

 

I'd thought I'd already acquired it,

but had missed it when live, (away from home),

and only "flown the flash", by setting my clock back to that date, (i.e. unearned).

 

Similarly for "Ooiki Falls".

 

Wonder how long it'll be before they come round again.

Just read Tom "Parity" Allensworth's comments and suspected he had been going through h*ll. Computers were supposed to make everything so easy. What a laugh!

 

I too did Steve's Giant at night, and Ooiki. The Iao Valley is also unchecked for me, but seems to be buggy. The listing has no thumbnail and I have flown up and down the valley numerous times without finding it - go figure. But, I won't give up until I get ... again! :lol:

LIao Valley would have been more appropriately named Iao Needle, or Kuka‘emoku.

Glad to be back. Thank you Avsim!

 

I always check the Aerocache every day and low and behold on March 8th "Sleeping Giant" on Kauai popped up and was not checked off. This is strange because I was the one that had created it in the first place. The first time it came up I was credited with it, this time not. Anyway it was a "dark and stormy night" when I went looking for it and of course having a good idea where it was located, it was not hard to find. Really stood out nicely at night too.

 

For some reason I checked out the permanent Aerocache list and "Iao Valley" on west Maui was not checked off so I want and got that one also. I have checked this list many times before and every one had had a check in the box, strange. Two in one day after a long dry spell felt great. Now my count is 346.

Ouch, I would not try that one in the dark Luis. Iao is one off the locations I have actually visited in the rw. Another being my "end of the road" Aerocache. One of my most favorite places in the islands.
