Hello everybody,

 

while my FSX Standard King Air or even the Carenado B200 do make clear noises of the wheels while touching down, I did not hear anything with the B1900 - and it is not that I am such a good virtual pilot:) Is there a way to enhance or change the touchdown sounds - I know it is not a PMDG 737 but putting such a bird onto a runway really is confirmed through audio.

Hello Al:

 

Go to the King Air/sound folder. In there find the sound.cfg file. In there are three sections marked center left and right touchdown. Copy all six lines and paste them in the B1900 sound.cfg file.

Simple as that.

The sound file names were already in my B1900D sound.cfg file?

 

Maybe they wave files were missing from his FSX or P3D (sound folder) install?

Will check that as soon as I am back from Business trip. Thank you in advance!
