PFD shows NO VSPD

Featured Replies

I'm getting the NO VSPD in amber displayed on my PFD while sitting at a gate. My SPD REF selector above the center engine display is set to AUTO.

I've completed my FMC route and activated. My V Speeds in the CDU were clicked on to display in the PFD but they do not show up either.

I must still be missing something?

Thanks...

My bet is that you didn't confirm them.  If they have a > next to them, they're only being recommended.  You must either confirm each of them by clicking on them, or overwrite them with values from a takeoff performance tool (like TOPCAT).

I did click each V Speed (V1 Vr V2) in the CDU via their LSK buttons.

I activated the route...is that the same as executing the Perf Init data?

No.

The PERF INIT is its own page and function.  Based on that question, my bet is that you haven't done the tutorials.  Those would probably answer all of your questions and more (and even have pictures to explain everything, unlike most of the explanations here).
