Crash when turning voice recog off

Whenever I start fs2crew it cannot hear me and when I try to turn voice off it crashes fsx. I am using windows 7 64bit, I have reinstalled fs2crew and have made sure I am using US speech.

Did you install FS2Crew as Administrator and did you wait for the complete Installation to be finished?

Unfortunately yes. I have tried installing and running everything as an administrator.
