March 24, 201412 yr Author HI!I'm using REX TEXTURE DIRECT 4. My graphic card GTX760, RAM16GB. Should I change settings in REX? Lukas Majer
March 25, 201412 yr Try disabling REX and/or running some flights without it and see if the artifacts persist.
March 26, 201412 yr If they come and go especially when panning or looking into more complex scenery (Toward a payware airport etc.) it's typically a sign that you are overtaxing your system. The only solution I am aware of is to turn down some of your rendering options or buy more powerful hardware. You could also try a different video driver if you think it's related to your graphics card. RE Thomason Jr.
March 26, 201412 yr Author I didn't it before (FSX) with much more details. My i7 3770K (4.3GHz) and GTX 760 work OK. I'm trying with old graphic driver. Lukas Majer
March 30, 201412 yr I reckon this has something to do with graphics settings. I have these issues whenever I try to tweak my Nvidia Inspector or Nvidia Control panel settings too much. I always end up reverting to default, which removes these artifacts. I bet you also get texture shimmering until it calms down, too? Try checking shadowed areas in the cockpit and in the ground textures in front of you. I do also use REX 4 TD. Right now I just let P3D v2 run its native antialiasing options etc without fiddling with the Nvidia settings. Shuai Li
April 1, 201412 yr Had same problem and I know I am sounding like a broken record since I stated some similiar in antother thread. 1. Save your P3D config file and change its name, 2. Restart P3D and allow it to build a new file. 3. Stop P3D and edit CFG file adding your Affinity Setting and himemfix 4. Save your NI file and bury it in a second folder. (you dont want it to load) 5. Restart P3D, then go to settings, move everything left on the sliders to 25% and then incremently move right. The idea is to use just P3D and not try and out think the developers, P3D is not FSX, when FSX was last modified, Win XP was the OS to have, Nvidea 7000 series cards were the bomb, and 2006, Intel released the desktop version of the Core 2 Duo. So as you can see, a lot of work has to go into FSX to keep it up to speed with changes. For right now, P3D is state of the art and only needs to be fitted for your particular hardware changes. I did the same thing when first started working with P3D, I even tried to see what my FSX config would do. Yea we won't talk about that!
April 3, 201412 yr Author HI!THX For suggestion. I was trying many method. Without succeed. 1st - turn off terrain shadow (problem gone) but we havent our machine shadow on ground ;-) Sollution in my case: reinstall nvidia drivers to older. - problem gone! Lukas Majer
