Not loading flight plan

Featured Replies

Hey guys.

I'm having trouble with vox atc. I save a flight plan in the fsx flight planner (eww) but when i start voxatc i dont get the option of opening a flight plan. I only get the option to do a local flight or do traffic patterns.

This is vox atc v6 btw

Heeelp please :(

Ensure that you reset the original flight or you load a flight saved
with a flight plan.

Follow these steps

To create a flight for VoxATC With FSX, start FSX and select free
flight. Click on the flight planner button and create and save a flight
plan. Setup the weather, aircraft etc and then save the flight. Click
the fly now button and start the flight.

To create a flight for VoxATC With Prepar3D, start Prepar3D and when it
has loaded, select Flights from the main menu. Select Flight Planner the
menu and create and save a flight plan. Setup the weather, aircraft etc
and then save the flight.

To start an existing flight (with flight plan) with FSX, start FSX and
select 'Free Flight' and click on the 'Load' button. Choose a flight
with a flight plan and click Fly Now.

To start an existing flight (with flight plan) with Prepar3D, start
Prepar3D and select Flights from the main menu. Select Load, and then My
Saved Flights. Choose a flight with a flight plan and click OK.

N.B. VoxATC should always be disabled before loading a flight.

what simulator are you using? If you are using P3D, you need to convert your .fxml file to a .flt file using this tool http://www.desiredtrack.com/wp01/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/FxmlToFlt.zip

Place the .exe into your saved flightplan directory, DRAG the .fxml file to the converter tool. A new file ( .plt) will appear, DELETE the .fxml file, LOAD the new .plt flightplan. All should work then.

VoxATC requires the .plt version of a flightplan. The developers are very near a P3Dv2.1 READY version of Vox which will negate the use of a conversion.

Hope this helps

Guys, anybody still has FxmlToFlt converter? The link above is dead.

Thanks,

Dirk.
