Uninstalling FS9 with both FS9 and FSX on same computer

Featured Replies

I have FS9 and FSX on the same computer and want to remove FS9.  I never fly FS9 anymore.

Has anyone else already done this with success so FSX isn't damaged?

My thought is they are completely different installations so removing one shouldn't effect the other.

The removal process steps I'm planning are:

1 Removing USA roads

2 Removing ActiveSky version 6.

3 Removing addon planes 2004 versions

4 Removing FS9

Does this look like the correct process?  Anything I may be missing?

I getting worried since I haven't had any replies to my post.   Any help would be appreciated....

Your procedure looks OK, it will not have any impact on FSX.

The only thing I am not sure about is Active Sky. Do you use it in FSX?

Is it a separate program for FS9 and FSX?

Thanks for the info.  I use activesky 2012 for FSX which is a different program.
