February 10, 200521 yr I seem to have an intermittent delay factor in my joystick input (CH Yoke USB).Not very easy to explain this one, but I'll give it a go. On finals, for example, if I am coming in with my nose too low, I pull back gently on the stick. Nothing happens for a few seconds, and then, suddenly, the aircraft reacts and pulls up. Joystick works normally for a few seconds and then does the hesitation thing again. This also happens with the ailerons.Pretty nerve-racking so close to the ground.I've checked out the yoke, serviced it, and all seems to be well.Interested to know if anyone else has experienced this. It's ruining my flying. John
February 10, 200521 yr Hi John,Never heard of this problem before. What happens when you use the yoke in control panel>game controllers? Do you have the hesitation there or does the yoke work smoothly?Ed
February 10, 200521 yr No other hardware and, as far as I can see, it does not do this outside FS9. John
February 10, 200521 yr Author I would check what the response is like in the calibration window. If there is lag there and it happens after the system has been in use a while check that power management is not activated for that USB device.Go to Device Manager and right click on USB Root Hub, then properties-> Power Management and make sure 'Allow computer to turn this device off' is unticked.
