April 23, 201412 yr I made some purchases with the Easter offer, but can't download. When I click on the download links, I get "The store is temporarily closed for maintenance. Please check back soon" and going direct to http://www.megasceneryearth.com gets me the same error after the initial redirect.
April 23, 201412 yr Looks like they are having server issues. Bummer, too, because I was trying to score some last-minute Easter special deals yesterday. It looks like they are hoping to be up by EOD April 24.
April 23, 201412 yr That is unfortunate. I purchased NV a while back with a promo-coupon but have had so little sim-time of late that I hadn't even gotten around to DL'ing it yet. Hope their problems aren't too serious. Scott
April 23, 201412 yr Yep picked up Hawaii and So-Cal (to go with my Miramar scenery) and the darn thing won't load.
April 24, 201412 yr I spoke with them by email, and they apologized for the downtime. They'd told me they were expecting to be back online by 5PM today, but obviously that didn't happen. They also told me they would be repeating the 10% Tuesday deal on Thursday instead, but it wasn't clear from their response if the 50% discount would be extended too. I'm certainly hoping so, as I was planning to buy another six states to go with the one I already own. Mike TomkinsKnoxville, TNFlight Sim user since the subLOGIC / Apple II days
April 24, 201412 yr About 4 hours ago, Dean at the PC Aviator Australian store sent an email explaining computer problems which they were experiencing, one of which related to MSE2 downloads. His email said in part: " MegaSceneryEarth 2.0 downloads are experiencing similar but slight different issues with delivery of download links, however, unlike the Aerosoft products, we are able to work around this issue manually to deliver download links for these products while the technical issue persists. Rest assured that we are doing our best to discover where the issue lies and to correct it as soon as possible so normal online store services can be restored to full working order. Note that most all download products and delivery of registration codes for them are unaffected and are currently fully functional." I don't know whether the reference in his email to a manual work-around relates only to MSE2 products bought via the Australian PCA store.
