FSD Website?

Featured Replies

Is anyone else having difficulties getting the FSD website? I was able to find their online store and purchase an aircraft, but have been unable to get to their main site. I also haven't gotten a download link yet. This is the site I've been trying,http://www.fsd-international.com/Anyone?Thanks, ChuckCYXU

No problem here, clicked on your link and went straight to it.Will

Strange, I get a Network Solutions page stating that this domain expired on Feb 5th, 2005.Could it be that you are seeing a cached page?Chuck

Clear your cache and try again - you should see the following: fsd-international.com This domain name expired on 02/05/2005 and is pending renewal or deletion.Looks like an administrative thing...DJ

Can't be a cashed page, I did it again and this time went to a dozen or so other pages of their website including purchase pages of their aircraft I do not own and therefore have never been to that part of the site. Will

Interesting. I get the page on one machine and not another, so it isn't a dns problem. Have you gone to the tools->internet options->delete files menu and deleted your cache (assuming that you are using IE)? In any event, I suspect this a very transient problem, and not worth getting excited about.DJ

It's maybe an isp thing. FSD apparently have almost lost the domain by forgetting (?) to pay the bill, or the registrar might have made a mistake. Anyway, the domain is now visible from my isp, indicating that FSD har rescued the domain at this time. If you don't see it it's because your isp (telephone company or whatever) has not updated their dns servers (some of them are quite sloppy). Anyway, it will be available for everybody sooner or later.brEagle

>Interesting. I get the page on one machine and not anotherStrange, but they normally have two dns servers, maybe you hit different ones ...Eagle

I cleared cache on the second machine and now see the 'pay us or else' notice...DJ

We are trying to work out just what exactly has happened with Network Solutions. According to our receipts, the domain is registered and paid for well in advance. We certainly apologise for this regrettable inconvenience, and until this problem is resolved (and the world-wide DNS Lists get updated), the website is accessible via :http://69.13.144.132/.....http://www.fsd-international.com/team/Steve_signature.gif

Thanks for the heads up. However, I did not receive a link for a purchase and was wondering if the current issues with your site mean that downloads are on hold? I've tried to leave a form mail at the site you provided, but confirmation that it was submitted bounced me to Network solutions. I tried sending an email, but have little faith it will find it's way through due to being sent to server mail.I guess I'll have to be patient and wait.Chuck
