April 28, 201412 yr http://prosim737.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=40&t=6427 Xplane update notes by Marty » 26 Apr 2014, 23:53 I'd like to explain some of the things we are doing for X-Plane in more detail. Unfortunately it has been quite from our side regaring X-Plane for some time. This was partly due to lots of work and partly due to missing information that was necessary to implement a lot of the X-Plane compatibility. We are getting more help now and will therefor be able to improve the X-Plane compatibility and we will strive to make ProSim737 the best cockpit suite for X-Plane. Below is some further information on the ProSim and X-Plane combination: X-Plane ProSim plugin We will continue to use and extend the use of our custom X-Plane plugin, which allows ProSim direct access to the X-Plane datarefs. The plugin has recently been upgraded to conform to the "fat plugin" style. This plugin style consists of one folder, housing both a 32bit and a 64bit version of the plugin. The plugin can be found inside the Xplane.zip file, which is in our main distribution. To install the plugin, copy the ProSimData folder into your XPlane plugin folder and restart X-Plane. When using the ProSimData plugin for X-Plane, ProSim737 system has to be configured to connect to X-Plane. To do this, open the configuration screen and under the Main tab, set "Simulator" in the "Options" box to "XPlane". Aircraft For now we will be focusing on compatibility with the X737 aircraft, without using the X737 plugin. The X737 plugin contains 737 logic which conflicts with the logic already present in ProSim, so switching off the X737 plugin is required when running ProSim737. Work being done Like Hanne said, we will first be focusing on getting the basic functionality right. The current pre-release already contains a lot of improvements for X-Plane. The autothrottle is more stable and the in general, the autopilot is working a lot better. We hope to bring a lot more improvements in the near future.

October 3, 201510 yr Hi, are there some news about X-plane and Prosim? I switched from FSX/ P3D to X-Plane, because the Sim is much more smoother and more realistic. So I'm relative new to this Sim. Yesderday I tested Prosim with X-plane x737 without the x737-Plugin but I got some strange behaviours of the plane while the Autopilot is on and the lights are not working. Am I doing something wrong or is it still an incompatibility issue? I was also reading in the Prosim-Forum but the Threads regarding compatibility between X-Plane and Prosim are mostly 1 or 2 years old.... So the thing I really want to know is: When will X-Plane be fully supported by Prosim? Best regards

Best regards Re: Change Log Don't expect much until the code freezes. by Marty » 25 Apr 2015, 10:37 I'm still working on the whole code cleanup, which has a lot of internal changes without any functional changes. There have been some aviation expos in the previous weeks that required last minute hardware driver changes. This new hardware is in testing phase so it cannot be mentioned in the changelog yet. Also, major effort went in to the X-Plane plugin, but we could not finish it in time. Once the features in the X-Plane plugin have stabilized, they will be mentioned in the changelog.
