Hey Ses,

If your flying around that area, you should check the FA08 Polk City Fantasy of Flight freeware airfield. Its pretty well done and blends good with Global. Its two intersecting grass strips with the museaum, and it's right up the road from Winter Haven. Check it out at

I'll do that Rayz!   FSXG REALLY shines in this part of Florida...all the graphic elements come together...and there are way more mixes of them, then I have most anywhere else. I don't know the reason for that...but only stumbled upon it, when first checking out Winter Haven.  I've been having a blast putting FSX on pause..and then Googling to view R.L. information of where my plane is suspended over.  I have been to Florida, many, many times...but for the life of me...have NEVER explored the area around Winter Haven...but merely passed through either South, or Northbound. So...FSX can be seen as an educational application, as well as a sort of world ambassador of sorts..  If you see a mountain that interests you...well, go and check it out in real life.  In fact....because of FSX as well...I have planned another motorcycle trip to Canada's Hell's Kitchen Gorge, on the Fraser River. There is a fabulous FSX flight between ORBX mountain valleys that will have you in the air for three hours....you just need to know where the first valley-cut is...(hint...you head towards the mountains, from out of Vancouver...and that's all you're gonna get out of me....) I don't want too many VFR'ers cramping up the view...LOLOLOLOL!   The valleys lead you into flight-path sway-backs, as you try to rubber-neck...but not become part of a mountainside.  ORBX is killer in this area...and there are many Easter Eggs......but my lips are sealed.....

It's funny you say that, but because of Orbx scenery and flying VFR in the beautiful Pacific Northwest and Alaska simply makes me want move tomorrow. In fact were actually trying to move to Colorado at the moment. Getting bored of the flat lands.
