CTD at start screen when loading Fly Tampa Boston scenery

Featured Replies

First scenery I have used that has caused a problem. Now I did install a different KBOS scenery from a different developer but I have since deleted that scenery from the scenery library and off of my system because I was hoping to avoid a conflict of having two of the same scenery installed. Now one odd thing is there are two gate A 9 in the sim. One is a medium gate the other is a small gate. I thought maybe having two gates named the same would cause an issue. If that is causing the problem how do I go about getting rid of one of the gates or at least renaming it.

Also I will say I did get the scenery to work 1 time. It loaded into the sim but as I was taxiing I could see basically through the grass in some areas like below the scenery. It was almost transparent and I could see major drops in elevation. I then installed the scenery update from fly tampa hoping that would fix it but now I can't even get the scenery to load at all. Below the error I get every time.

The following was taken from the AVSIM CTD Guide:

G2D.dll - The g2d.dll is indicated as the faulting module in the crash report. This module handles plain text messages, like the frame rate counter and those other plain text messages you see periodically while running FSX and the plain text words in the FSX Menu, like the words Options, View, etc.  There may be something corrupted in your dll.xml which loads menu items. It has been fixed by rebuilding the FSX.cfg (deleting or renaming the FSX.cfg and then restarting FSX).  Some others have fixed this problem by uninstalling/reinstalling the video card drivers or going back to a previous version.
