New Doha Airport

Featured Replies

Today, Doha's new airport opened for passenger operations.

There is a fantastic freeware of OTHH made by Christophe Bouville.  Note that there is an additional download link for a patch for an altitude fix.

Enjoy if you haven't downloaded it already!

Thanks for the HU, Luis!

Just another HU, both the airport and the fix are also available in the AVSIM file library.

No prob.  Good to know it's on AVSIM too.

My comment was deleted from his page. I asked if we could have an option to use the new ICAO to have both airports open at once. Since changing the Ai flight plans is easy, we should be given this option by him. Also he has a bug in the scenery, the VOR at the field is labeled DXB, that is wrong. High quality freeware scenery is good for the community, but these are simple requests that he doesn't listen to.
