Saitek Switch Panel - the One Problem I Cannot Fix

Featured Replies

I've had sooooo many little problems while I've been building my sim set up, but no matter how obscure, I've always found someone whose had the same problem. And everything got fixed somehow!

The Saitek Switch Panel crashes to desk top within minutes of starting a flight. I can't seem to find a solution to this one at all and it currently sits unused on my sim desk as a nice looking ornament.... I love the thing when it does work, but can't risk CTDs in flight so its unused. If anyone has any advice, anything I can try, I'd me most grateful as always..!!

I think I only have SPAD and LINDA installed to manage it.  No other software. I use SPAD if the default behavior is good enough and I use LINDA to remap basic things. (You can do more complicated stuff with SPAD + FSUIPC).

Gregg is right. If you have the Saitek drivers installed, get rid of them and get SPAD. After that is should be fairly simple to map what ever you like. Take note it takes a little effort but the payoff is huge. Good luck Cpt out.

I did install SPAD, but while testing the config, I still got a CTD so I uninstalled. But, I left the Saitek drivers in place ... That gives me some hope ... I will first delete the Saitek drivers then give it another try.

Tried shifting the USB connection to another on the computer, also reinstalling the Saitek drivers from the website.....

Anyway, one more thing to try ;)

I am pretty sure I did not install the Saitek drivers.  I'd definitely uninstall them and use SPAD/LINDA.  I don't think I've ever gotten a CTD from those.
