May 2, 201412 yr Hey! I've got a AI Grumman American, I adapted things for AI-use, and that always, when starting it's AI flight, as soon as it is, still on the ground, in movement it starts hanging backwards dragging the tail over the ground an the nosewheel up above the ground. I know some settings in the aircraft.cfg file need to be corrected, but I don't know what exactly I have to modify. Please, can somebody help me? Greetz Jive1
May 2, 201412 yr Hi, could you please specify the aircraft type and its source more exactly. Do you mean an AA-1/AA-5 type aircraft? Regards, Harald Harald Geyer Gründer der Messerschmitt Freunde Dresden v. V.
May 2, 201412 yr I see this with the MyTaffic2006 freeware occasionally. Sascha Rieger | EVO Developer What is EVO • How to get Evo 2016 • FS9 Evolution Forum
May 2, 201412 yr Possibly this is seen after using a flyable model for AI purposes. Why did I ask if Jive1 means the AA-5? There is an AI model of the Grumman AA-5 within the package "rfai_various_ai_aircraft.zip" at flightsim.com, which works quite well. Harald Harald Geyer Gründer der Messerschmitt Freunde Dresden v. May 3, 201412 yr Author Hey! Thank you all for the information! First let me say, I live in Belgium, I love belgian aircraft because I want to see as much as possible various types in my belgian sceneries indeed, and I meant an AA1-C, of which I found a painting with the Belgian colors and registering, so I had to search for the original of that painting, and then I found a flyable model and modified it to an AI aircraft. It's the Grumman AA1-C T-Cat by Ron Watson, for which I had the belgian painting, and that combination hangs over backwards when taxiing before take off and after landing. The model in the "rfai_various_ai_aircraft.zip" is different, and I can't use it with my belgian paainting, so I'm very sorry.... Greetz Jive1
May 3, 201412 yr Maybe you can just use it's .air file? Harald Harald Geyer Gründer der Messerschmitt Freunde Dresden v. V.
May 5, 201412 yr Author Hey! I've tried some of the advises, but the AA-1 has different dimensiosn and weight from the AA-5, so I had to correct the [lights] and the [contact points] as well. I had some difficulties in making that, and finally took a aif-file of another aircraft, a Piper Archer and using that one all was OK. That was the easiest way of doing. Regards Jive1
May 5, 201412 yr Nice to hear you could get it to work! Harald Harald Geyer Gründer der Messerschmitt Freunde Dresden v. V.
