I tried to read the tutorial that is pinned, but I gotr a message that I need permission from administrator. So I startedthis question, I would like to embed a photo in a post, but when i tried, it asked me for a URL. My picutures are not on another website, they are on my pc :-)  ..  So i am hoping someone can help me out on this.

You're right, the link seems to be dead. Anyway, you can't upload images directly to AVSIM anymore. You'll have to use an image hosting site, such as tinypic, which is what I use. They provide the necessary code to link the images here, so that the pics do actually show here. That's pretty straightforward, a simple copy and paste action, and it reduces the load on the AVSIM servers.

I'll ask what the problem there might be, though, because that tutorial was actually quite helpful iMO.

We are working on finding a solution to the missing tutorial link. We may have to come up with a new tutorial and place it in our Tutorial section here at AVSIM. I do know that Tom came up with a tutorial that is located in the Hangar Chat Forum. We'll get it worked out. In the meantime, if you have any questions on how to embed images here at AVSIM, PM me or ask here.
