May 23, 201412 yr Jeese I feel like I'm coming from FS9 to X - obviously the settings are a little different. Is there a guide written yet to set stuff up? I'm getting far worse performance in P3D than I am in FSX. In rural Minnesota where I fly KDLH, I'm getting about 30 unlimited. In FSX I get like 150. For software that uses more GPU this is a surprise to me. Any cfg settings I should be using? | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
May 23, 201412 yr Ryan, your graphics card may be your bottleneck....a 2G graphics card is highly recommended, or you may struggle. The program pushes most scenery loading to the Graphics card....in your case, it may struggle. I would turn off tesselation to start with (dont overload your GPU) and turn down weather and scenery sliders....and start from there. Will Reynolds Flight Sim Addict
