Connecting DataProvider on Display Unit Aivlasoft EFB

Featured Replies

First of all, I couldn't find any sub forum to post this topic and posted here. Of admins can move this topic to appropriate place, it will be appreciated.

So, I just purchased EFB.
I did all installing and setup by the manual. I dont have any network setup so I installed everything on the same machine.

After I start up the DataProvider, I launch the Display Unit.

And the only thing display unit says, is connecting to Dataprovider. I waited for more then 20 minutes, nothing happened.

Thanks.

Anyone, please? What can it be? I changed port, did everything on the manual. Nothing works. The support specialists did not solve the problem. It is been a week that I purchased the application and it stopped working...

Have you tried letting the DataProvider Module re-build the FSX scenery. Give that a try first, and once it is completed, it will ask you to restart. Do that and you should be good to go with using the EFB Display Unit. Additionally, you may or mot be aware it has been updated since first release.

Hope this helps

Sounds like your activation didn't work and possible the copy protection may be blocking it from working? do a full uninstall, delete every trace of it from your user profile ( C:\users\yourusername\appdata\local\Avilasoft) Also delete the avilasoft folder and any leftovers where it's installed.

So, when I do "netstat -an" comand on CMD, it says TCP connection 127.0.0.1:51747 is LISTENING.(Only when DataProvider is running) The port number is the same as the one in DataProvider. Which means DataProvider is working and streaming the data. But DisplayUnit does not connect. I believe it is something related to the application. But I am not sure. It is been a wee already. I purchased the application and it stopped working. Anyone please, please, please help me.
