Most FPS friendly AI traffic addon?

Featured Replies

Before anybody says anything - yes, I have already searched.

I am looking for a specific feature - I heard about "ideal flight" adding AI specifically to your departure and arrival airport - independently from the FSX sliders. This seems to me like it would give me more planes, visually (and I assume with ATC interactions as well, but not the most important factore) in the areas I fly into (and out of). Are there addons, other than Ideal flight (which I am not interested in), which feature this, or are very light on performance?

I am not looking for a million different models or airlines, just looking for the skies to be less lonely. (btw, not looking to join vatsim or IVAO, I'm strictly offline)

Thanks!

I've heard VoxATC generates traffic, so if you're looking for an offline ATC program this might also provide you with traffic on your flight. For good performance it helps to have AI models that are designed to be frame rate friendly. I use MTX 5.4c and I have lots of traffic (driven by BGL schedules) with barely any frame rate loss. My understanding is you can also use both of these addons together: Use VoxATC to generate traffic using MTX models.

Try Ut2, this works outside fsx, has the best models ( some need to be improved).

 Rig Specs; CPU AMD Ryzen 9950X3d, GPU 5090 32gb,  Memory 64GB 2x32 CL28 , WD-SN710 Black 500 GB, WD-SN710 Black  2TB, MSI x870XeTomahawk, Be Quit Straight power 1200 Watt platinum. LG Oled C4

I'm using UT2 and even at London Heathrow with 80% density (and improved models over default in many cases) I only lose about 8fps. Much less noticeable at less busy airports.
